For the return of monsoon, the weather has started changing once again on Monday. The IMD alert has warned of widespread light to moderate rain over Uttar Pradesh (UP) and neighboring areas for three days starting Tuesday. On Tuesday, the districts of East UP division of the Meteorological Department are expected to see partly cloudy sky with thunderstorms, while rain is expected in the west.
An orange alert has been issued by the Regional Meteorological Center in Mumbai for Gadchiroli and Gondia districts till Wednesday, with heavy to very heavy rain at isolated places with thunderstorm and lightning predicted. The possibility of rain has been ruled out in Bihar, Jharkhand, while a warning of heavy rain has been issued in Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu including Odisha. Talking about the hilly states, light rain can be seen in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Leh, Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir. A yellow alert has been issued for rain in Uttarakhand Himachal. The rains will continue over the eastern state. Incessant rains in Assam Meghalaya Manipur Nagaland will disrupt the weather and normal life. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain in the areas till July 25.
